The Plainfield-Queen City Historic 5K Walk/Run for Life committee is gearing up for its 5th Annual event to be held at the steps of Plainfield City Hall (515 Watchung Avenue) on October 17th and we're excited with the outlook. Registration will begin at 7:30AM and the festivities with begin at 8:00AM. The first race (1Mile fun walk/run) will begin promptly at 9:00AM. The main event (5K - 3.1 mile) will begin at 9:30AM sharp. Awards and presentations will begin at 10:30AM.
This year under the theme "Coming Together to Make a Difference", the event is set to be the grandest yet. Check back here often as we will be sharing lots of new information weekly. Suffice it to say for now, there will be more of everything (runners, sponsors, music, food, vendors, prize money, media coverage, fun)!
