Welcome to Plainfield-Queen City Historic 5K Walk/Run for Life information site!  You are at the right place.  We have already begun planning for the event and are set for October 13th.  Here you can register on-line, print fliers and hard copies of registrations, get sponsorship info, see 5K course, and get other important/interesting information.  Remember to get early registration benefits by registering by October 8th.

Our 501c3 non-profit organization's mission is to help address serious concerns in and around the community of Plainfield, New Jersey through a premier walk/run event encouraging community Unity, advocacy for youth, and encouraging a focus on health & wellness, while highlighting the rich history, safety & beauty of Plainfield for all to enjoy.  All profits go to disadvantaged youth and elderly non-profit projects (for example, 25 deserving children have been awarded scholarships and we have funded local cheerleaders and sports teams in support of their efforts).  All donations and sponsorships are fully tax deductible. We would like to do more, and with your help we will.

This years event (8th Annual) is sure to be the best yet.  The event begins at 8AM at Plainfield City Hall.  1 mile walk/run begins at 9AM sharp followed by the 5K (3.1mile) walk/run at 9:30AM sharp.  The event is USATF Sanctioned and the 5K course is certified.  All walkers/runners are officially timed and awards are given by age and gender.  You can enter as a team in one of the many team divisions as well (see registration form). The first 250 registered entrants are guaranteed a goody bag including a commemorative t-shirt and/or other commemorative items. As in years past there will be entertainment and music.  Also, we are seeking volunteers and vendors (see sponsor/vendor form on this site for more information).
